Transforming underutilized green space into a community destination

In response to the imminent closure of Hill Park Secondary School the students of Cardinal Heights have proposed redeveloping a large portion of the school’s soon to be underutilized green space into a new, sustainable community destination. Large areas of the existing green space have been maintained for recreational proposes while the street frontage of the existing park space on Upper Wentworth Street was developed to create a destination for the city and activate life on the street.
